Seat belt harness mounting points

These tapped plates are welded into the chassis frame for the seat harness eye bolts,

with the body off and everything stripped from the chassis all remaining welding is completed

Fire wall fabrication con`t

An oval hole is cut for the steering column to pass through , these pic`s show the column from inside the car and from the engine bay side.

Fire wall fabrication

The firewall is cut from 18 Gage mild steel, a 90 degree bend is put around the top and sides to weld to the main body.

Rear wheel tubs con`t

A 90 degree bend is put on the side panels so that the wheel tubs sit on the chassis . The chassis is then drilled and tapped to bolt from inside the car when the floor is complete.
