New seats out of a Toyota, cut and bent the shift lever so it won't hit my knee, got the shift boot and change holder in the right place.
They tried to get the tranny on the engine for the 36, but no dice. I need a bigger hammer.

Didn't get much done for the amount of perspiration. Got the body off the frame, discovered i needed a new flex plate, bolted that on, ditto torque converter, borrowed a safety wire twister. Fiddled and fooled around.

Got the front axle bolted on as good as i could. Sure will be cautious testing this out. It does not seem to have a lot of spring action.

Bolted in, and the bolt on the spring is centered, and fitted with a crush tube.
Next make some U-bolts.
I think i will do the motor mounts before i push this aside for other projects.

Jerry got the tie rod cut and threaded, so Saturday i will try to bolt the front end down. I won't have to make mounts for the radius rods, just run bolts though the frame.
Bear from down the street gave me some 50 Chevy sheet metal parts, a hood that is on the Ratster, and enough of a bed to cut down for the Bobber.
I will drop this down, but as for now i just want to screw it together and look at it for a while.
