Got the new slab poured, 35 bags of cement mixed by hand (not by me) can't use it for a few weeks, but now i have a flat place to make frames and other big welded things. (cue Frankenstein music)
I might even get to put a roof over it someday..
Next plan; paint the Frankenwagen and see if i want to sell it or to rebuild the front end, swap out the spindles and change to a higher geared 5 lug real axle for actually going places. So far i figure it has cost me 30.00 a mile to travel perhaps a hundred miles.
Got a horn to work on the Ratster, used the old 47 Ford one because it doesn't need a relay. Put more stop leak in the radiator, and put on another cap. That looks ok, so far.
Then hooked up the fuel line on the 47, and fired it up. Clutch was not releasing so made a longer push rod. That worked, but i still can't get into first or reverse, will have to mess with the shifter some.
If i can get that working and a brake hooked up, it's outta here.
