Do body work.. This is coming up on $4,000.00 spent on a $25.00 truck, running out of ambition. The front fender is (un) solid bondo, so i glassed it, someday i'll replace both of them, but not until next summer.
Patch panels on the driver's door, and kitty hair. Getting started on this panel pounding, i might even buy another hammer some day..
And bought some tractor paint to slap on this monster. 40.00 shot to heck.
And got some 300 lb. four inch casters for the engine lift, but ran out of time and energy by 7:00. Tomorrow..
Cut down the Swivel mount about two inches, for the driver's seat in the Frankenwagen... Might have to re-bend the handle, but ran out of time and energy.. Going to spend all of tomorrow, or as much as i can stand on this project, in the hope the engine block is actually done..
Finish the big parts of the body, and maybe change out the hood..
Can't work without a bench, right? So this is under roof, and out of the sun, and will serve as a metal sculpture and detail bench.
Covered with sheet metal, and right next to the compressor.
First project is an old air tank i cut down to a bell. Sound is disappointing, so i will hack at it with the plasma cutter, and make an art thingy out of it.
Still waiting on the machine shop to finish the 250, so every thing is on hold, more or less...Waiting on Jason to finish the mounts on the Bondo Bucket, then we can trade out, and to get a motor built for the Falcon. Neither of us has a garage, and August is pretty brutal this year.
I'm going to start finishing the Hillbilly Hummer, get a new door, and slap some paint on it.
