Scrounged up this stump to use in place of a shot bag for sheet metal pounding. I seems to work, crudely. I dished out a back for my first metal bodied guitar, a Dobro Bass. Crude but worked.. I'll try to get some of the dings out with a hammer and dolly tomorrow.
And bought a 7" disc grinder to get the cut-off stubs of the body mounts off the frame. What a monster. Now we know what killed John Henry.
I just got started when a storm blew up... More tomorrow.
Done. Not done well, but done... A lot more love than this truck ever thought it would get, guaranteed. Made the left cab corner, and glassed the right one, and welded a patch in the gas filler hole, kitty haired that. Patching from the back works a lot better.
