These were more typical. I think that was a Mitsubitsi engine in the Crosley.. Some Japanese truck anyway

here is the only rat rod at the show.. 47 Ford Cab, chopped and 8 inches cut off the bottom, very neat hand made frame, 86 Mustang Four, hand made seats, and so on.. Love the "Appalachian" bed cover.. Roof tin, in case you can't tell.

06-16-2007 05:01 PM Car show
Off to a car show at Tanglewood Park. Here is a typical doodlebug. 71 Ford pickup frame and motor, frame shortened two feet, body frame and roll bar welded up out of heavy pipe, beer keg gas tank..

Guy says it gets good mileage, had it up to 70, Yee-Haw..

06-11-2007 02:23 PM And Then...
Set the cab back down to see how it looked with the channel, and if i fit inside. OK so far.

Then we welded some strap steel to form the bottoms of the rear cab corners, and proceeded from there. The right one was enough there to fiberglass, but the left one was missing in action. I screwed the piece we were making in place before final fit, because it started to rain.

06-11-2007 02:18 PM It might just work
Tony from Ct stopped by and i put him to work..We tipped the cab the other way, cut and welded that rear panel up six inches or so, and welded everything in sight.
