I have decided to buy a new 22-R engine for the Toyota doodle-bug and try to use the Holley Weber carb, clean up the engine compartment and rip out all the bogus pollution stuff.. It ought to run cleaner that way with out all the leaky dead vacuum hoses...
Then fix a few dents and repaint.. Engine is on the way.
I was going to fix the Frankenwagen first, but Fiddle Festival season is almost here, and i need some wheels right now..I have some books to sell. "How The Hippies Ruin't Hillbilly Music" Seriously. Well, semi- seriously
Hope this works..

Wen to the Auto Fair with a few bucks Uncle Sam didn't want, and only spent $200.00 or so.. Got an Offenhauser Valve Cover for the Frankenwagen, half of a spot light, so maybe i can make a whole one with the other half i got in the great junk cleanup, a Model A grill shell for $15.00 for the rat rod, (aka the '47), and (not pictured) a pressurized water fire extinguisher for when i set the lawn on fire with the welder.
Three pix. The motor i need for the Frankenwagen... A super nice Chrysler woody sedan with wood canoe and fishing outfit, and my loot.. Saw a Jeep wagon for 850.00 i wanted to buy, but we were on the way out, and couldn't.... My wife wouldn't let me.

Got it out almost all by myself.. now to pull the pan and start reclaiming the 47 body.. Somebody was wanting to sell me a 41 cab, but i have no details.. if i could get enough metal out of it to chop the top and make a king cab, i might go for that.. otherwise, slap this thing together and sell it. I have an evil plan involving a couple of Chevy 5 window truck bodies i know of.
