Getting everything done but what i need to do. I reshaped the left wheel well where it was rubbing, and welded some patches and fillers on that side body area. I need to get inside and weld in the floor supports, but it's way too hot..
So i ground down the bondo on half the roof, and the right side upper body area, and put on a thinner coat, which is drying slowly... I never seem to get that right.
Going to take tomorrow off from the shop and try for the floor braces..
And took a picture of the doodlebug, supposedly fixed, and the opel which is still waiting for the rebuilt calipers..

Math doesn't lie; i had two rusty dead trucks, and now i have only one... And it kinds of runs.
I feel for the restorers who cry about 1/4 inch of bondo.. I peeled this door , and found this; half inch of bondo covering pop rivets, paint and more bondo.. Hogly, hogly, hogly...

Exhaust, Parking Brake, New brake lines where needed, lights wired up. wheel cylinder, brake shoes, all under 600.00.
total to date, $2,700.00. Plates tomorrow, we hope... This is the second most expensive vehicle i have ever owned... After this school bus i lost a ton of money on... Put in a new 292, and built the whole inside, kitchen, shower, toilet, stereo, beds, water tank, and then married a woman that hated camping... Lost about $4,000.00 on that one..
