The sub frame has been powder coated dark gray. The trans is now painted to match. As soon as the body of the car is painted the sub frame will be bolted up. The paint should be applied to the car this up coming weekend
Here is a 1968 Nova that I owned for 4 years and finally let a dear friend of mine talk me out of it. I sold it to him because I knew he would make a great car out of it. This car was almost rust free. Matter of fact the only rust was a small rust hole about the size of a dime on the quarter panel behind the wheel on both sides. Besides that the car is in great shape. In one picture we have held up the patch panel with the metal cut out of it used to repair the small rust hole.
