The last time i had the cougar on the road,I had some issues with the headlamps closing on hard acceleration.Everything I read pointed to the vacuum canister in the left front fender....well, I removed the fender, and there is no vacuum canister or any sign that there ever was one.I found this diagram in my manual,it shows one there.My cougar is an early 67...did it even have one? Any one have any insight?
