DOH!

I got things working real good now. Turns left no problem and goes straight but no right turn.

Forgot to check the clearance at the back of the arm to the rim on a turn. I thought I had all kinds of space but apparently not.

Got to cut the back tube off and run it straight to the ball joint sleeve.

Doh!

Lower Control Arms Started

I got the first lower control arm tacked together.
1-1/2" diameter 1/8" wall stainless tube.

The last pic is the mockup jig I made to check things out.

Crossmember Parts

I got the crossmember drilled and the threaded sleeves for the rack and lower control arms made up.

The larger sleeves will be welded over the threaded sleeves and to the crossmember for rigidity.

On The Rotisserie For Welding

Got the frame back on the rotisserie for welding.
Second pic shows a cut I had to make to "blend" in a part of the front rails to the 4x4 rails.

Front Rails

I got the two front rails tacked together with some spacer tubes.
The glass is to check that the rails are parallel to each other.
Of course they were measured square as well.

I got them set in place ready to start tacking to the main frame.
