10-23-2011 10:19 AM FIXING THE MESS

Upon closer inspection, I discovered I made the first grill collar wrong and then copied that for the passenger side.

I brought out the torch and big blankin' hammer and had at it.

Got it into shape pretty good.

The last pic is a side view showing the shape thru the grill openings.

I cut out the opening for the passenger side grill and made up a trim ring to weld in.

10-09-2011 07:37 AM RAD MOUNTED

I got the tabs bolted on permanently and the side plates tacked to the radiator.

I will take it off and get it to someone with a proper welder for final welding of the side plates.

10-03-2011 05:00 PM MORE RAD MOUNTING

A few pics showing the rubber isolators, the 1/4'' radiator side plates and the tabs that will get bolted to the side plates before welding them to the rad.

The bottom frame tab bolts on so the rad can drop down from below.

10-03-2011 04:55 PM RADIATOR MOUNTS

I added some tabs to bolt the rad to and also a stiffener tube across the top to get the front of the frame nice and solid.

I finally got my new (used) mill up and running and carved out some tabs for the 1/4'' aluminum plates that will get welded to the side of the rad to spread the load.
