Mock up of fenders
1949 hood and cab with 1952 fenders. Can't turn the wheels at all with the fenders that low. I guess I will figure something out.

Cab mounted
This is what it looks like now, next is a hair cut! Three inches off the top please!

Cab mounts bolted in
I fabricated a front mount, and simply flipped the rear mounts to get the cab bolted down.

Channeled
Some of my HAMBer buddies came over and we channeled the body down on the frame. That is a total of 12" out of the height so far for those of you scoring at home. You can see the frame Z in the last photo only.

Frame back together
I got the front axle over the spring, and I got the frame welded back together. This lowered the chassis approximately 6".
