02-13-2009 10:41 PM gas tank for the 50 chevy
knocked the hole I cut a little bigger and placed a '67 mustang 16 galon tank.
I'm also running 3/8" hard line for the fuel.

Also experimentation with tire sizes and how much room I have for reloacing the shock when I do the bags up front.
To refresh you memory, it's a 2nd gen F body front clip and 15x6 s-10 wheels with 205-75 tires.
I think I'll go a bit smaller to a 195-60.

Got a non-tilt earlier van column mocked up. feels good to sit in it, but it's going to be like driving through a mail slot.

01-06-2009 09:56 AM Sad news
Over thanksgiving week, our entire family went on a cruse to Acapulco.
We've beem planning this for over 1 year, and Mom was really looking forward to going, even though her health had been detererating.

We had a fabulous time on the cruse. Ate myself stoopid and got to much sun......perfect.

Unfortunately, once we got home Mom wasn't feeling very well at all, and she finally said she would like to go to the hospital. I always hoped it was just a little to much travel for her but it turns out one of here tumors ruptured.

Mom passed away on Dec 1. She waited till after the cruse, and after my birthday (Nov 30th) to call it quits after 2 1/2 year battle with cancer.

Rest in peace Mom, I'll love you always

11-03-2008 10:07 PM '50 chevy time for controls
I've got a great start on controls.
The brake pedel is mounted up and the booster is in place.
So is the go pedel.
The seats are mounted now also.
I've mocked up the steering column using the chunks of the original I have.
My plan is to use a van column, hopefully my neighbor comes throug soon and I'll have a free one.
