I plan to use this bulk head connector. The top two ports are for the A/C lines leading to and from the evaporator unit and the bottom ports are for the heater hoses. It is also possible to disassemble the connector nipples and install them individually at different locations on the firewall.

04-03-2013 07:17 PM 1930u More A/C work and line routing.
The grill shell fits really well. I have several and the best one is metal instead of fiberglass. Iím going to try and form the grill mesh into a convex shape around the condenser. This will permit the grill shell to fit closer to the radiator mounting brackets and reduce the amount of metal I will use to extend the grill shell towards the engine. It will also make for a stronger overall assembly.

Also once I cut the A/C hoses to fit I will mark their position in the bead lock fittings and the local NAPA store is going to crimp them all for me.

04-03-2013 07:01 PM 1930u- More A/C work and line routing
Now that everything is mounted I have started to figure out how to route all the barrier hoses. At first, I thought, I was going to have space issues and was thinking about using the reduced barrier hose and was really worried about the lines in and out of the condenser but so far so good. Iím not really trying to hide the lines and fittings but I did want to make sure the grill shell would look okay. Just a clean look without having the lines exposed.

I have a lot more work to do and will extend and lengthen the grill shell to hide the radiator mounting brackets and the condenser lines. I think these pictures will get the point across.

03-23-2013 09:42 PM 1930u Remounted the A/C unit
I pulled the Super Frost unit back out and re-installed it. I like the horizontal position much better. I'm also going to use under dash mounted A/c diffusers. I can adjust the evaporator very easily. Now that it's all mounted I can work on the line routing.

03-17-2013 07:51 PM 1930u Dash A/C and Heat
I have a Super Frost A/C system...so far so good. Today I worked the unit into the dash structure...it's designed so it will drain when mounted on an angle. I tried the position shown but really didn't like it, so I removed it and I'm starting over again.
