04-03-2013 06:01 PM 1930u- More A/C work and line routing
Now that everything is mounted I have started to figure out how to route all the barrier hoses. At first, I thought, I was going to have space issues and was thinking about using the reduced barrier hose and was really worried about the lines in and out of the condenser but so far so good. Iím not really trying to hide the lines and fittings but I did want to make sure the grill shell would look okay. Just a clean look without having the lines exposed.

I have a lot more work to do and will extend and lengthen the grill shell to hide the radiator mounting brackets and the condenser lines. I think these pictures will get the point across.

03-23-2013 08:42 PM 1930u Remounted the A/C unit
I pulled the Super Frost unit back out and re-installed it. I like the horizontal position much better. I'm also going to use under dash mounted A/c diffusers. I can adjust the evaporator very easily. Now that it's all mounted I can work on the line routing.

03-17-2013 06:51 PM 1930u Dash A/C and Heat
I have a Super Frost A/C system...so far so good. Today I worked the unit into the dash structure...it's designed so it will drain when mounted on an angle. I tried the position shown but really didn't like it, so I removed it and I'm starting over again.

03-17-2013 06:44 PM 1930u A/C and Alternator Mounting
Iím appreciative that the after market has made some brackets for the old Hemiís. The quality is good but I did have to tweak them due to some clearance problems. Hereís a few shots. In time Iím going to have to pull it all back apart to detail, clean and polish it all again. All in all Iím pretty happy with it.

02-23-2013 08:12 PM A/C and Alternator
Haven't been working on the old car to much but I did finally get the A/C Compressor and the Alternator mounted. I'm using a 100 amp 3 wire alternator and the Hot Heads mounting bracket's. I still have some adjusting to do but it worked out pretty good.
