As I have said, I am a welding and fab instructor for high school level students. We decided to ditch the ladders for a triangulated four bar. I had the guys cut up the old ladders and use the stock for the new bars. I pirated the mount design from various other set ups. Some bracing, finish welding, blasting and powder coat, it should be OK.
We started building the inner structure and the brake system. It will have a drop out tranny mount. Please excuse some of the gaps and cuts. These are high school guys and are still learning.
We have decided to convert from ladder bar to triangulated four bar. My brother is a machine tool instructor. That makes a lot of things easier! The motivation for this ride will be a 440 MOPAR.
