I've been making the cabinets and wardrobe in the "Tini-Home" trailer, and while my old shop teacher might not give them an "A", they're not bad! Just click on the link to my blog to see the rest of the project, and all the othe activity at "Cool McCool's Garage"!

By tommorow afternoon, it'd be useable, provided one didn't mind rolling sleeping bags out on the floor and eating out of a cooler! Looks, and smells, SO much better!

Here's the latest on our little travel trailer project. It's gotten to the point that it no longer smells awful in the shop, which has GOT to be progress. Follow the link to my blog for more pics on this and other stuff from "Cool McCool's Garage". Come on in, prop your feet up by the woodstove and hang out a while.

I used the '76 GMC plow truck for the first time today! Didn't get stuck hardly at all, although I did go to the hardware store and buy half a ton of tube sand for ballast. That made it at least useale in the snow, although when the dually tire chains get here, NOT legal for highway use here in Michigan, I'm sure it'll be unstoppable. It did blow an O-ring in the valve body, which lets the blade drift, and loses fluid at an alarming rate, but the rebuild seal kit that's also on the way should remedy that.
Now that this plow truck project is (almost) finished, I can get back on the Diamond T, and the Tini-Home canned ham (canned HAMB) trailer project!

Well, it ain't pretty (yet), but I'm ready to plow! My scrap-yard salvaged Meyers plow is mounted, there's a full tank of gas in the (brand new) tank, the 454 purrs like an angry lion, and I've got several hundred pounds of ballast in the back of the box. If it doesn't snow enough to use it, I'll be sort of dissapointed now! Now that this silliness is (almost) done, it's back to work on the Diamond T. Come spring, there's a new hood setting in the corner, a set of stainless dually wheel covers, and a couple gallons of appliance white paint to go on the '76. It's been a fun project.
