As a reminder that I'm not perfect, and that a little humility goes a long way, here's the story of todays primer fiasco with the Diamond T pickup. It's funny really, especially when I've made this exact mistake before. You'd think I'd learn...
Anyway, here are a couple of pics of the truck ALMOST completely ready to paint, and the link to blog to see just what todays bone-headed mistake was! http://flynbrian48.wordpress.com/
Finally got the Diamond T in epoxy primer the other day. As I had to clear a spot to pull the wagon in to do a little work on it, I mocked the truck up. It looks REALLY good with some color, any color, on it. There's more at: http://flynbrian48.wordpress.com/
Hey folks, we just got back from another GREAT weekend with the Tin Can Tourists in Milford MI. More and more people are showing up with Hot Rods, Customs, and classic cars as tow rigs every year, it's very cool. We met lots of new people, had a chance to catch up with our old friends, and are looking forward to the next old trailer event, "The Vicksburg Old Care Festival", coming up in June, I think the first weekend.
Check out the action at my blog, or stop by the TCT website for tons of pics!
Over the past three days, I re-polished our '46 Sparatan Manor trailer. It's 25 feet long, held together with thousands of rivets, and I am intimatly familiar with every square inch and each and every rivet. Check out the whole story at my blog:
