11-18-2012 08:34 PM Working the dash......
With the pieces added to the garnish mouldings, they can be removed for glass and trim panel installation.Capped the end of the dash board to finish it off also.

11-18-2012 08:30 PM Working the dash......again
Well ,have been struggling with the dash design in this car since day one.I think I have changed it 3 or 4 times. The current version was fine, but somthing just kept bothering me about it.I like how it looks, except where it meets the doors. I decided that it should blend into the doors. I ended up changing the top of the dash to line up with the garnish moldings and then added a piece to blend into them.

09-11-2012 09:50 PM Little bit of etch....
Got some more spray can etch, sprayed it on most of the rest of the car.Still need to do the left door and quarter, still need to heat shrink on them first. Its been a while since the coupe has had a coat of anything but wd40 on it.

09-11-2012 09:45 PM Little more progress...
When I re-suicided the doors,I did not finish filling the old hinge holes. So I pulled the drivers door off to do this.Filled all the inner structure holes, exterior holes and ended up replacing the lower 2 inches of the outer skin.It had alot of pits and pin holes so I figures it was better to replace the metal, than try and fix every little hole and pit. Got the door back on the car.

09-02-2012 09:41 PM A little more body prep....
Trying to work my way around the car, finishing up all the little things that need done before actually starting the filler work.I have had the paint stripped off it for a while now. Started going back over it,cleaning up any little surface rust and spraying some rattle can etch on it to keep it clean until I start the filler work.Of course,I ran out,but decided to keep moving, and cleaning......
Ground down the welds on the running boards at the rockers, filled the old hinge holes on the passenger door.......and a picture of it as it sits tonight.....
