Took a small break from working on the plymouth.Got invited to be one of the featured vehicles at the Hot Rod Restoration Trade Show in Indianapolis last weekend. So I spent a few weeks cleaning up the '48 to get it ready for the show. Had a great time, met alot of great people. Actually ended up driving the truck home after the show. Now just cleaning up the mess I left in the garage,so I can get back to work on the '38 this weekend.

Was nice enough outside today to roll the '38 out of the garage for the first time in months. It gave me a chance to get a better look at the overall progress, and clean out the garage a bit. Still have a lot more work to do, but I am happy with the way its going so far....

Re-arranged the garage, turned the '38 around to work on the drivers side. Again, did the basic filler work, rolled on the primer.Yes,I said rolled on, using a foam roller to apply the first few coats of primer. It is alot cleaner,no over spray, and 95% of the primer ends up on the car instead of half of it on the shop floor.Blocked that coat off, then re-primed.Thats about where it is at right now, hoping to get more done during the weekend......
