Cleaned the rest of the paint off the dashboard .Installed a simple heater/defroster unit it the truck a while back, finally installed the defroster ducts.Had to re-engineer the passenger outlet, but got to work like I need it to.Cut the slots in the dash at the base of the windshield too.

06-19-2010 10:03 PM Cleaning up the cab
Spent a few hours over a couple of evenings stripping the old paint and rust and junk from the inside of the cab.Sealed all the seams up too. When it dried, put on some fresh paint for the new insulation to stick to.

06-05-2010 08:05 PM Rolling the bed around
With the underside of the bed finished up,I needed to be able to work on the rest of it and be able to move it around the shop.Used some 2x6's for the main frame and 2x4's to make the actual supports, and added some casters to roll it around. When I done with it,the 2x4's can be removed, and the main frame can sit against the wall until I need it for the next project,at that point I can just make some different 2x4 supports to fit what I am working on at that time.In the last picture you can see how bad the front bed panel really is.
