02-25-2010 07:48 PM frame fix
I ended up welding up all the extra holes and trimming the lower part of the rail to match the upper. Then made a plate and boxed it in.

02-25-2010 07:45 PM Steering box
Im using a vega steering box,but before I could mount it on the frame, there were a few things I needed to do.First the frame has a lot of unneeded holes in it,and second, the lower part of the rail is wider than the upper part making it hard to box it in.

02-13-2010 07:38 PM Fuse box
Before I welded the mount in,I drilled a hole in the toe board below the mount area. This will let the rest of the harness pass down out of the cab and out into the engine bay and back to the rear of the truck. The column and dash part of the harness will go up through the inside of the mount and onto the dash area.

02-13-2010 07:33 PM Fuse box
I got my wiring harness the other day.All the wires run out of the bottom of the fuse box as it mounts in the truck. Im mounting it in the kick panel area on the drivers side, and need for the column and dash wires to go up.I made a simple bracket for the box to mount to,(the back part of the box is shown in the pictures).

02-13-2010 07:28 PM Run Channels
The hard part of this was to make the channels adjustable.......in 2 directions.I tried to make it simple, not wanting a slot in the door where it could be seen.I ended up with a 3 piece bracket set up that gives me front to back adjustment with one bolt and in and out adjustment with the other, and with just a single mount hole in the door.
