Started building the inner frame work for the bed.I decided to try and use any space available,so Im building storage compartmaents into the floor. There is quite a bit of space under the bed floor thats not used.I started with the front of the bed, building a place to mount the battery and adding a little storage also.

Got the bed on the truck for the first time.I dont think it looks too bad for the most part.I do think the lower bed sides need to be extened down to match the cab. The tailgate even fits....mostly.I do think the bed being on makes the hood look a bit long,Im going to have to do somthing bout that.......The wheel arches are even lined up pretty well.

The tail gate was a bit rough to say the least. Its workable, but rough.I spent about an hour with a variety of hammers,2x4's,and other tools beating it back into a some what respectable shape.I also flattened out the ford script on it,I have a plan for that space...........

The bed had fenders, which I didnt need,so off they came.I figured that I would need a total bed side length of 66" to fit the truck.I cut the bed sides on both ends so I could try and center the wheel arch over the wheels. Once the sides were shortened,I tacked welde them back to the front panel.
