the back fenders are off - the cars not to bad, but the flanges on the fenders are pretty thin
but thats ok, im going with +2" glass fenders to clear more rubber
a lot of the inside has been taken out - seat, all the cloth and window inside moldings
trying to find how much rust i have to deal with
i ordered bbc firewall and matching front floor pieces,
rockers ,and lower quarter panels

got the heads (781's) baked, mag'ed, and cut for larger 2.19 and 1.88 valves.
now i need to do some light port work to clean them up.
the block (454) was baked, mag'ed, main line checked, lifter bores grooved, bored .060, and clearanced for 4.25 stroke.
i may clean up the valley a little, i dont know what else i want to do to it.

its time to start on this thing
im never going to have the time or money and im getting old
so i uncovered it and am ready to move it into the garage
i tore apart my two 454s and sent some pieces to the machine shop to see what we had to work with
i was hoping to be able to ring and bearing one of them but they are both very worn out already been rebuilt once
it looks like im going to be spending more than i wanted on the motor
its only a little more to buy a stroker kit than to have the old stuff checked and reconditioned
