This is the Jaguar before I put the t56 in -- previously the car was an Impala SS LT1 powered car, with a 4l60e. The engine spun a bearing and I had to put a new one in. I settled on a 93 Camaro (which i swapped the intakes with my old 96 intake, so i could use the 94-96 PCM/harness (the fuel rail is different on the 93, and so are the injectors.)
I finally decided to make a project journal for my project car. It is a 1984 jaguar XJ6, with a 1993 Camaro LT1 (which has a 1996 intake and a 1996 electrical harness). Instead of the usual 4l60e that people do for these conversions, I went with something a little more challenging (this time around!), and opted for a t56 6 speed trans.
I'm still working on figuring out how to get the clutch to disengage -- if you have any suggestions, let me know! More pix to follow.
