After spending days designing and making brackets to mount the S10 rear sway bar to my 36 frame I posted a question to this web sites forum about a front sway bar and found that you should not add a rear sway bar without a front sway bar. So I shelved that plan and started searching for a front sway bar. I read an article on the Stove Bolt page about a guy who installed a sway bar that was made for a 47-54 Chevy pickup on his 37. That got me thinking I contacted him and asked him to take a few measurements on his 37 so I could check for any differences between the two frames. He got back to me quite quickly and I found that my front cross member sits back about 3 more than his 37. After studying the measurements I came up with a plan to mount the sway bar to the front of the front axle and the arms to the front of the frame. The first thing I needed was to make a bracket to attach the bushings to the axle. I used my press and a piece of pipe to bend the u shape. While still in the press I heated the bracket and bent the right angles. I got a pair of heavy duty muffler clamps and made a fixture to straighten the bottom of the u in them so that would fit over the axle.

04-24-2013 09:08 PM Super Slider Spring Clamps cont.
I fabricated a fixture to bend the strips in my press.(a little crude but it works) After that I drilled the holes then polished them.

04-24-2013 09:04 PM Super Slider Spring Clamps
So I bought two sets of Super Sliders (front and rear) I got a set of stainless steel spring clamps and found that they would not fit the super sliders because of the extra space that the sliders take up. So I bought a piece of x1/8 stainless bar. First I sanded the rough coating off them cut it into 7 pieces.

04-15-2013 05:05 PM More plumbing
Well the brakes went well so why not the fuel, heater and AC lines. I took a piece of 3/8x2 aluminum and fabricated a set of hose holders. Again a lot easer with out the engine. I also ran the battery cables.
