I got to test fit the corner floor patches to seal off the gap between the floor and the cab skin. I had to modify them a little I will weld them in after I get the cab in epoxy primer.

I fabricated a small patch out of a piece of scrap. After cutting it to size I took a piece of pipe chucked it in a vise and used a hammer to form a radius in the patch. I then spot welded the patch to the inside of the cowl.

Iím finally ready to strip it down and get it ready for paint. I bought a couple quarts of paint stripper one was a universal stripper and the other was an aviation paint stripper. The aviation stripper, although more expensive, works much better. I did need to open my garage door because of the fumes. So far so good I only found a few small spots of rust out that will need to be patched.

Ok Back to the doors. I drilled some holes at both the bottom and top of where the latch plate will be located to weld the plates to the backside of the jam. It took a bitt of adjusting but both doors close and latch.
