All parts for bed came from LMC. The wood deck is white oak. I have two neighbors who do cabinet work. One of them got me the wood for 80.00 bucks. The other (who lives next door) cut the planks to size and mitered the groves for the metal strips. The board you see on the rear is to make sure all the welding keeps the back square
found pictures of the ifs install and rear end. The Son-in-Law came over
with a portable welder, He's Certified and did a great job. He returned another day and did the motor mounts, spring perches, shock absorber pads on the rear end.
Took a break from fender rust repair and cleaned up the windglass frames. A friend who has a 1940 ford coupe suggested I don't replace them as you can get a window to fill the door window completely. But
I like to old look with the windglass. My truck will look stock, just like someone would drive it to work. The only tell will be the laker exhaust pipes sticking out from under the running boards, that somethings amiss.
The two pictures on the end I'd like to remove..
