02-02-2014 05:10 PM Interior Tin
Haven't had time in a while to work, but finally got out this weekend. Worked interior tin, and got the tunnel built and made fillers for the rear panel. Also tacked in brackets for fuel pump and panhard bar. Stripped off the body to finish the welding too. Productive, but need more weekends like this.

09-22-2013 05:24 PM First day of fall, 2013
Doesn't look like much progress, but doesn't feel that way. Front and rear Ride Tech air coilovers installed with final suspension geometry. Settled on the 26-12 X 15 in front, and both sides now have same tire/spindle combo. Rear tires remain 29-15 X 15. Seeing it on the ground at ride height (3&quot made me glad I chose the 15" rears - 18's would have been too wide. Couple of mounts need to be stiffened up, rebuild a few brackets but it all works. Bump steer and camber change is as expected. Set basic front end alignment. Also roughed in final interior tin, tail lights. Going to do some work on the interior next. Waiting for a couple shows this fall to look for fuel filler and a few other pieces.

08-03-2013 08:15 PM Rolling Around
Rolled it out into the driveway today. Pretty low compared to the Challenger. Ordered the front shocks, and built the redesigned front cantilevers for the suspension. Have a bunch of electrical on order, and will start roughing in that tomorrow. Plenty to do, but at least now I have seen it in one piece, (sort of) all the same color, and it is looking like what I thought it would.
Pretty cool

07-28-2013 07:49 PM Four Wheels
Spent some time getting the whole body all one color (at least close to the same color) and hit the back side of the body panels with rust defender. Made a few different attempts at the structure to mount the rear shock waves in conduit. As it sits, have about 3" travel up and down. Need to get some seamless tube to build the final version.
Front needs a little design work - bent one of the cantilever struts, although it was just temporary to get the geometry right.
Was fun to sit in it with my daughter - really hot and humid out tonight so we took a break. So much left to do, but motivating to see it all in one piece.

05-27-2013 01:08 PM Progress Update
Haven't posted in a while, but hadn't done much. Over the past few months, took off the body and started working on the interior. Got the dash and instrument panel done, mounted the transmission and shifter, started building the tunnel. Keep going back and forth to work clearances. Latest update is the rear 4 link is in, and I have verified a decent pinion change through suspension travel (less than 4 degrees) and clearance to the tunnel. Next will be mounting the shocks and panhard bar, then moving on to finishing the interior tin and the body.
