04-02-2012 09:12 PM Finally some floor!
Painted the frame rails black & ran the fuel line and the battery cable. I decided that I was FINALLY ready to put in the front floor panels.

04-02-2012 09:03 PM More on the fuel panel & stuff.
Mounted the fuel filter on what will be the inside of the panel & under the tank. The plan is to have enough extra line to drop the panel for a filter change. Every thing from the bottom fuel tank bung to the bulkhead fitting thru the panel is #10 fittings for when & if I ever get the blown BBC in. I do not want to have to change much in here other than adding the electric pump.

04-02-2012 08:58 PM Rear panel & some brake lines/
Got the rear "over the hump" panel ready to accept some of the fuel lines, etc. I hope to be able to drop this panel out the rear from under the fuel tank to change the filter.

03-23-2012 08:26 PM More shifter pics.
Took all day and evening on a Sat to accomplish this. Half was dealing with the frustration I'm sure!

03-23-2012 08:22 PM Dammed Shifter!!!!!
I had opted to go with a rod type shifter for the 700R4 instead of a cable because I thought the positive feel would maybe be better for my wife to be able to get the right gears. That's what I get for thinking! I could not believe how much I had to modify all my pretty tunnel sheet metal to make that change. Not real happy with the finished product yet, but the shifter works well and I hope the floor will look better when it's covered. Will put a console type boot over the shifter and at least it can be removed from in the car if needed.
