This one belongs the '50 Caddy owners daughter. My only involvement was the final block sanding and paint. This car was featured on an episode of ESPN's Mothers Car Show Series, and was also in Street Rod Builder magazine. It wasn't a big feature in the magazine, but more of an honorable mention from the Frog Follies show in Evansville, IN. It was going to be tangelo pearl and white, with a narrow strip of ghost flames starting at the hood side vents and ending toward the rear of the door. The paint sceme was changed two days before I painted it.
This '50 Caddy belongs to my old friend and mentor. Needless to say, I was honored when he asked me to build it for him. We chopped it 2.25", using the original, un-cut windshield,(a little trickery) and a '47 Packard sedan backlite.
