For several reasons I decided to try a different look. 29 4 door cowl. Some windshield frame I got for a buck at a swap meet. Modifying the doors with old window garnish moldings.
I finally got enough pieces gathered to start piecing together my body.
I started out just wanting a roadster pickup with a bit of extra leg room. I am using a 28-29 roadster cowl and chopped windshield. The back half is a 26-27 Model T touring and the doors are about 24-25 touring back doors that are hinged off the back. I picked up the 49 Flathead V8 and overdrive transmission yesterday.
Plans change according to what I find but right now I am planning to use Econoline axles and steering with cowl steering. I also plan to use the top irons from a 24-25 roadster and have it disappear when down. I should get my frame home next week and also a trip to the pick and pull with a sawzall and generator to find a panel to fit the back and some filler panels for the rear wheel wells on the tub.
