We wrote an article exposing a kit-car company called Streetbeasts.

Now, they've tried to silence us with a frivolous lawsuit.

Guess what happens when unethical companies try to bully hotrodders out of their free speech?
Get the details, and see how you can lend a hand.

01-05-2006 06:39 AM blah.......again
I bought me a sheet of ABS plastic to play around with. Im gonna use this to cover part of the door panels on the vette. Im sure itll work great since its a flat area.
I also plan to try and see how this stuff bends under heat, as I am considering useing it to make new door panels for the truck. We'll see how this stuff works out.

I also found an old picture of my truck from when I was in High school before I started tearing into it. It looks completly different.
PLEASE ignore the walmart hubcaps.....I was young and stupid.....just be glad I didn't put a wing on it.

01-05-2006 06:29 AM finishing the box
to clean up the back panels, I cut out a peice of 1/4" plywood that will be covered like the rest of the box, to hide the ugly parts of the box.
I covered the panels in foam to also give them the plush feel

Here's a pic of the box with the sub in it, this is what its gonna look like when done. Im not the best at covering this kinda stuff, but oh well

Bad thing about covering, somewhere the vinyl is gonna end.

01-05-2006 06:21 AM some more progress
I went ahead and ran the wires for the amp as seen in the first picture
I also covered the fiberglass box with foam to give it a plush look when its covered
Then I started covering the box in the same faux leather I did the headliner in the truck with.
