01-05-2009 10:58 AM big block installed
Here is the finished position with the towers tacked into place well enough to hold the engine. The A833 manual tranny sets real low and won't require much of a tranny tunnel.

You may notice there is no distributor on the engine now. I will be running coil on plug using a trigger wheel since this is an EFI engine. If you look back in my journal you can see the trigger wheel installation on the engine.

I decided to go with the clam shell mounts. I also decided on two small towers from the frame rails instead of a crossmember.

12-29-2008 09:45 AM Rear Installed
Got the rear end installed with the four link setup from S&W race cars. It is made for street rods and uses bushings in the links.
