metal finish

floor pans are done but no pics at the moment. started metal finishing the roof that had about a quarter inch of filler and plently of low spots under that. also the engine parts are going to the machine shop soon. things are going better then expected.

Havent done much to the car lately. basically at this point all of the windows are out of it and front suspension parts are out. i am going to the metal supply house to get the sheet metal for the floor and also the tubing to build the roll cage. once i get those in i will put it on the rotissery and sand blast the entire under carriage and spray it with POR-15 and also do the same with the inner floor. and then once the suspension parts came back from being powder coated i will reinstall them and take it off the rotiserry. ive also located and engine and im just waiting for the guy to remove it so i can go pick it up. all in all things seem to be going smoothly.

Estimated cost and quick list of parts.

Below is the list of some parts and prices i need to basically get the car on the road. which is just about everything except the suspension and brakes which will prolly be another 3k on top of this price.

New Project

So yesterday i purchased a little restoration project. Its a 1969 porsche 911. it needs alot of parts and even more time. Alotta sheet metal work. here are the pics as i bought it. i will make a "wish list" in a day or so and add that here as well as some plans i have for it.
