Although the car came with a 5.0l Ford engine, it was frozen. I found a 1988 Lincoln Mark VII LSC with the 5.0L HO engine in it on E-Bay about 7 miles from me. I picked it up for a song, and tore the engine and tranny out of it. After about 45 hours of wire wheeling, scraping, smoothing and painting, I finally started to bolt the top end back together.

After years of Harleys, its time to build a car.(OK, the fact that I now have a daughter has a little to do with that!)
My wife and I talked long and hard, and finally decided we wanted a fat-fendered Ford. I found one in Hemmings that semed to fit the bill...relatively solid, proced right, and not a "restoreable"...meaning, I don't have to feel bad about modifying it! I grabbed my neighbor one weekend, and we drove from Coon Rapids, MN to Olathe KS to pick it. The pictures show what I started with.
Oh yeah - it already has a polished C4 vette IRS installed!
