Took the T for a drive to set the speedo, on doing so I was not happy with the travel of the brake pedal. Investigating this further I found the master cylinder was for a Disc-Drum setup, this causes more travel and spongy brakes.
So another round of changes to resolve this issue.
I have purchased: GM Universal Aluminum Chrome 1-1/8 inch Bore master cylinder also a new brake booster to suit Disc-Disc setup.

As seen in the previous photos the roll bar needed to be covered as it is within 12 inches of your head.
A shame all that expensive chrome has to be covered up, I guess safety first is paramount. I have made them removable for shows as you can not make them look nice no matter what you do.

Next mod, head rests need to be installed, needed to manufacture mounting brackets and weld them onto the body without damaging the paint, lots to water and cold rags to prevent heat transfer. I will change the material these are made from once it has passed the test.

10-09-2015 04:10 PM Second round of changes
Still trying to get the T certified for New Zealand roads, after the first round of checks and the issues resolved a second check and more issues picked up requiring more changes.
Needed to replace the clevis joints on the front 4 bar supports.
These have been deemed unsafe so out they went, the issue was the clevis joints are 2 inches” longer than the ball joints.
This meant new 4 bars needed to be manufactured.

Sent the roll bar to the chrome platters came back looking very nice.
High brake light which will fit into the roll bar.
Blue LED added for the high beam, looks bad will manufacture a better system once certified.
Added a rubber cover to the brake pedal as now steel is not allowed. Also looks terrible will need to find something more suitable.
