We wrote an article exposing a kit-car company called Streetbeasts.

Now, they've tried to silence us with a frivolous lawsuit.

Guess what happens when unethical companies try to bully hotrodders out of their free speech?
Get the details, and see how you can lend a hand.

03-15-2009 02:18 AM Starting bed
After looking at some after market beds, I decided to create one myself. I am going to be using 1/8 in. steel (because I need alot of weight in the rear) on the sides, front, and tailgate. My metal guy Greg, bent the side rails and sheared all pieces to my measurements which was great. For the rolled top is just 1in. tubing welded to the top and welds grinded down and ends capped.

Here is my Fuel Cell and frame work. The cell is a 22 gallon 0.100 wall aluminum case cell with a 2 in. sump area, foam, sending unit, -an fittings and aircraft- style cap ( don't know might change that). The frame is 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 square .093 wall steel and the straps 1in. x 1/4 steel. I need to add some framing around the sump fitting next weekend.
