Finally got the headers from Sandersons and everything fits. Got the carb and ignition set. Got the steering shaft mounted. Took the headers back off and took them for ceramic coating. Now it's time to start wiring.
After getting the new frame a buddy asks about the old clipped frame , he wants to buy it motor trans and all, we make the deal and the search starts for a block. At first I was looking for another small block and found a good late model one piece rear seal block, even had it to the machine shop to be cleaned and inspected when one of the guys at work tell me about a $100 big block a friend of his is selling. Well before you know it we are building an aluminum headed, solid roller cam'd 496 inch RAT !
boxed frame with front and rear suspension. FatMan Fab coil over IFS and 4 link in the rear connected to a 9 inch rear housing with full floating axles and disk brakes with a Strange diff housing(Detroit Locker w/3.75 gears)
