09-17-2016 08:24 PM 1930u Its just been sitting
Hi all- I have been very busy with life since retirement and back in March I put all my cars, tools, and equipment in storage and demolished my old shop. It took me a couple of weeks to do the demo. but I got it done and started on the new shop in April. Finally I have moved in. I'm not as young as I used to be for sure but I got it done.

Soon I will be back working on the Plymouth... I hated stopping all my projects to build the new building but I was to the point where things were getting so cramped I couldn't hardly work. I have attached a couple shot of the new shop and the flying Plymouth.

10-13-2015 09:43 PM 1930u Back at it
Had a great summer but didn't spend to much time on the Coupe. I got it out last month just to look it over and make a to do list. The electrical work is completely done except for hiding a few wires. I also set the steering stops and the turning radius is nice and tight. The stance I love but I will be making a few changes on the grill shell...its way to thick front to back, so some trimming will be required.

06-20-2015 08:40 PM 1930u Dash back in
Got the dash back in. I have two more A/C ducts to run but for the most part the dash is finally done.

06-19-2015 07:50 PM 1930u more dash
Only worked on the Hot Rod a couple of hours today but I did get the dash all back together. Unfortunately I didn't get all A/C duct work finished so the dash is still on the bench.

06-18-2015 06:58 PM 1930u Dash Painted
Finally got some color on the dash today. The temperature was 100 in my shop today and 100% humidity. I'm not much of a painter and it was not a good day to paint but all in all it came out fair. I started with Sun Burst Gold and added some Inferno Candy Red highlights followed by Jet Black over coat. Trying to create my late 60's early 70's memories. Hope to install the gauge insert and install it back in the car tomorrow.
