The fuel injection and overdrive units both also had separate computers to run them that needed installed too.
I eventually got the wiring all sorted out, then had to remove it so I can finish the rest of the body/interior work,
I decided to install all the needed systems so I could drill any holes, and add any brackets. I installed the main wiring harness, had to sort out what I did not need, tie in the other stand alone harness' from the other systems, and route and label everything for an easier install during the final assembly.
Didn't realize its been so long since the last post...... been working on a number of things, got a few major components mocked up, installed the transmission cooler, the gear vendors overdrive unit, and the master cylinder, prop. valve, residual valves, and lines.
Since the last "build" update, I have checked a few tasks off the giant "to do" list for the car. The engine and transmission are back in the car, the x member is modified and the gear vendors unit is installed, the transmission cooler is mounted and plumbed, the master cylinder is mounted and the brake lines are all ran, all the air ride system is mounted and lines are ran as well as the wiring for it. the FI throttle body is on,the rest of the FI system is ran,the new pump and fittings are installed in the tank, as well as the fuel level sending unit. All these things are done for final mock up before finishing the under side of the car. The power steering pump remote reservoir and lines are installed. I had to make a mount bracket for the reservoir to work with the other accessory brackets.
Well, quite a while I guess, since I have posted on here. Basically life has put my plans on hold for a while, but I have been picking at the huge list of things to do on the '38. One of the things was actually to make it easier to work on the '38. Had the chance to remodel the garage and gain a little more work room.
