After Rereading this complete post, I see that you did try to give us a little more info there CUDA! So, is this roller cam hyd. or solid lifter? Did you know that ALL Hemi Cuda's came from the factory with dual 4 barrels? How is your car making serious H.P. with a little ol 750?? Come on speak now or forever........
P.S. there may have been a slight typo in my last post here, Soooo Sorry! |

i have to correct you oddrodder and i dont mean to sound like a ***** or nothin but a lot of hemi baracudas came out with the six pack carb setup.

Sorry Icedragon, but to my knowledge, the 426" Street Hemi was never offered with any thing but the dual quad setup! You may be thinking about the infamous 440 six pack engine! I lived and breathed chrysler H.P. back in the mid 70's so I hope I know what I am talking about! But, if I don't, let me hear about it!

At the risk of giving CudaBeast information to carry on this thread! Please check out "ALL HAIL THE HEMI" at www.vintagecars.about.com !!! My original information is correct! I am not trying to Gloat, just making sure that I give sound advice!

OddRodder,
You are correct. The 426 Hemi was never available in any offering from Dodge or Plymouth with the 6 pack setup. Only the 440 and 340 were available with this option. However there was a single 4 bbl. Hemi available in the late 60's. Not many people went for it because if you were buying a Hemi it was for the HP so they are extreemly rare nowdays, but this option was available if you wanted it.
