im scrapping an worn out old '85 Chevy 4x4 K-case 700r4 transmission, trans fluid was toasted and a gear or two was gone too,


anything that should be saved from it ?
or is the entire thing scrap?

i put a nice 88 k-1500 one in it that i got for 50 bucks

cant sell it as a core because no one in central IL does such a thing with parts, at all, of any kind, all parts go to peoria IL shredder and get eaten by the metal monster and loaded into train cars by the river, $125 a ton for shredder scrap like this, and cars too

Are you scrapping the interior? I'd really like to have a set of original buckets and console. I live in Macomb Il. about an hour and a half from Peoria. Just wondering. Thanks

howdy no its a bench seat one

i lived in macomb for a couple years, youre close to here, closer than to peoria, yet peoria is 45 from me, dead north

im gonna hook up the transfer case as soon as i make a gasket for inbetween it and the adapter, and also put the headers in and hook up the collector pipes that are under it, and find a radiator, and make it to where it runs and drives again and see if someone buys or trades, if not then it will be stripped, or i might save the rolling chassis until i find a 67-72 body to put on it
