Just finished a great book

By the name of "A Higher Call" its about an encounter between a crippled shot up B17 during WWII and a German BF109. The German fighter pilot actually escorted the crippled B17 out of Germany. It is a true story and a must read it will give you a new perspective on German fighter pilots who were not members of the Nationalist Party.

What a story! Sounds like a great read, thanks. Another WWII book if you want to grab another is "Mans Search for meaning" by Victor Frankel Man's Search for Meaning - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia written by a man who survived if I remember right three, Nazi death camps. It is a heck of a read too and highly recommended.

Hey Vince, I just ordered that book for my oldest step-son and he said he had read the intro and it looked like he was hooked. However, he is behind on his reading so it may take awhile hahahaha Sadly, I am not a reader and never have been (my loss I know) but he's done so much for us I just wanted to send him something from me.

Thanks for letting us know about this.
Em

For those of us that are reading challenged,jk, watch the movie Sophie Scholl on Netflix. Its a great true story perspective about Germans who hated hitler and all he stood for.
