Welcome. I'm building a '53 w/ power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seats, A/C, OD tranny trick 235, 2' longer king cab but am keeping the stock beam axle. Can't beat the 50,000mi I get on a set of tires and zero alignment problems.

Welcome.

I'm also building a '53. I'm using a Heidts Mustang II IFS, Dodge Caravan rear suspension with custom traction bars, Firebird 10 bolt posi, TH-350 trans and a little 'ol Chrysler Hemi for power. Nothing as exotic as a stretched cab like Willys 36 but I did do a custom dash and installed Mazda Miata door handles.

If you go to my site and click on the truck button you can see how easy it is to install a Mustang II IFS on one of these trucks.

Good luck.
