Hi my name is Sue , six years ago I didn't even know what a hotrod was , let alone own one .
I have a model A 29 Roadster pickup she was built for me by a well known rod builder in the UK , Steve Lang .
My 29A took 14 months to build from start to finish , lots of detailing on the body work . Just makes it different from anyone else's . Lot's bits on my car have been custom made , door handles , switches , dash , exhausts , back light mounts etc.
We do go to a lot of Hotrod shows , but most of all I love driving my hotrod , what a buzz !!!

I checked out your photoalbum I see you put alot of "process" pictures in it. We like to see process pics.

I'll say that your builder seems to know what he is doing. The steel reinforcement is the key to a quality build of a 'glass car. And his fab work looks top notch.

It isn't often that you see a rover V-8 in a model A...

You need to let him know that he put the steering wheel on the wrong side though.

Hi Mikey , yes your right about the steel reinforcement on a glass car . I used to drive Steve's T bucket ,which is also a glass body & is well steeled out as all his cars are .
At this time the proof was in the pudding , I hit the wall at the start of doing a 8th mile .If it hadn't been reinforced with steel the car would have been in piece's , as it was I only bent a few things but managed to finish , car & myself was only a little hurt , god was looking over me that day !!

welcome..................Correct me if I am wrong, but a Rover V8 is the same engine as the old aluminum Buick engines from the 60s.
