Fantastic. I'm going to use lots of orange also. What brand of paint did you use? Any special name for your orange? I'm leaning toward PPG Pearl Orange.

Great work.

Yep...August 14th, I was hoping to have it drivable by then but I guess not. I kinda got burned out on working on it for about a month, just getting back into the swing of things now.

Ok.
It is a slightly bumped up SBC with a Carter carb, Comp Cams cam-kit(cam,lifters,pushrods,springs) Double Roller timing chain, stock intake(for now)Stock ex.manifolds(due to lack of space) The paint is called Omaha Orange(sorry, no powder coating)
I can't even begin to estimate time of completion(hopefully sometime this summer it'll be drivable at least)
The cab, bed, doors, etc are all tucked away in the corner of the garage. As soon as I replace the fuel and brake lines I'll set the cab back on and begin all of the wiring(EZ Wire harness/21 circuit) Then it'll be the bed, doors, front end.

Larry, none of it will be covered up except for the airtank and compressor. The compressor is only temporary until I get the engine-driven compressor built The bed is cut out for the notch in the rear, and no inner fenders to cover up the suspension in the front.

This year is getting the oldschool ratrod look for now, then next winter I can finish the interior and work on some other hidden tricks. I just want to get it running and all of the bugs worked out this year.

I'll post some more pics when I get some more done. I need to run to the wrecking yard this week for a couple of things first. I broke an exhaust manifold this weekend
Unless someone has an aluminum intake and some factory rear-dump exhaust manifolds laying around to donate to the WEIMER ROD FUND
Later,
WEIMER

PS. Thanks for the comments!
