Showcars Bodyparts Unlimited

I don't know what the resolution for Showcars is. I hate to see people hurt by this company. It is my understanding he has been doing business the same way for very long time. My issues were never resolved, partly because I lost all trust and felt if I sent anything back he would forget to send my money or replacements. I just got tired of being lied to.

QUARTER FLASH,
Don't forget to post your problem with this company under "Company Reviews" at the top of the Home Page here at Hotrodders. I was in the fiberglass boat business for several years and regularly attended rod events where glass bodies and parts were displayed by the manufactures...........in fact, more events than I can remember. Never have I seen such sloppy workmanship from a company trying to sell to the public. It seems the owner of the company still wants to haggle over a few bucks instead of refunding all your money. Unfortunately there are many more just like this one doing business on the web hiding behind their computer from all their unsatisfied customers. I would suggest you post a comment along with the pictures on every car and rod forum on the web. Good luck

I just googled them, this post shows up on the 4th & 5th hit. Read further and there are more complaints. I would think this has got to be affecting business. Dan

Got to thinking. When I Googled "Showcars Fiberglass & Steel Bodyparts Unlimited" I got a lot of websites that had links back to Showcars. Maybe someone should contact the owners of these websites and refer them back to this topic and other posts. I know I'd not want to be associated with any company with such a bad reputation.

I too was ripped off by Showcars-Bodyparts on a fiberglass hood for my '66 C10. Poor fit, poor craftsmanship, etc like mentioned before. I am still trying to get some resolution out of this company... please be warned if you attempt to do any business with this guy! When I can post in the reviews I certainly will!

I have tried several times to post a rating on Showcars in Company Reviews and it will not except my log in. Go figure!

I had the same trouble with posting ratings. Send Jon a PM. You may have to have your password reset.

I received poor quality fiberglass products from a different vendor. I won't post who they are until I have everything in order as you did. I ordered front fenders, tapered running boards, and 2" wider rear fenders for my 36 Chevrolet truck. The quality as far as finish and thickness go, are fine. But, the 2" wider rears are actually only 1" wider. And, the fit is absolutely horrible. I automatically assumed I would have to make some changes to make everything fit but I never expected a half inch gap on one end, hitting in the middle, and 1/4" gap on the other end. The area I'm talking about is where the running boards meet the back of the front fenders. There are other areas with odd mating surfaces as well. But, like I said, I want all of my ducks in a row first.

Dave

Never mind about the password reset....mine still doesnt work.
