Just wondering

some of you have seen my project thread...if not i have a 1963 c10..pretty rusty 63 Stepside

i have a buddy of mine that has a 86 camaro T tops, Straight body, no rust, interiors good except for the seats are kinda ripped, no motor or tranny... no title but a salvage title isnt hard to get here in sc..

100 bucks gets it. It was inted for a race car so it has no head lights, tail lights or wiring.

for my truck i'm looking at about 600 bucks and alot of time, welding, learning to weld, body work and god knows what else to get it road worthy..not including the paint, sanding windshield and whatever else.

Yes i'd have to wire it up, get the seats re-upholstered and find an engine and tranny then paint it.. but it may be worth it...

do any of you think the camaro is more worth going after to build?

I don't believe either one would be worth a lot. At $100 on the camaro you can't go wrong. I would build the truck and get the camaro to build as a drag car but that's just me

Surely you're not getting rid of the step-side are you? That would be a sin.

A daily driver Camaro...? Hey why not, but insurance will be higher for sure.

I bought too many projects that were over my head and losing $ before I got wise. My take on it now is save the money and put it toward THE car you LOVE, one you wont resent if IT starts owning YOU a little bit.

Oh yeah...ONE project at a time. Start,finish,next.

Looking at buying this truck..

think its worth 400 bucks and a 1 1/2 hour drive?

400 bucks.. gunnna be hard to come by with no job.. but i think i can make it.. haha

can you tell if it is a Long bed or short bed? i cant tell.. also.. what engine is that.. it looks similar to my 292..but i'm not sure..

the truck is solid all but the rocker panels and a few spots on the doors. i have replaced the waterpump, radiator, put new tires on it. i drove it to take trash off and the points system gave me problems and had someone put in a updated disribtor in it and the timing was off so i haven't messed with it the card was new but from setting most likely needs overhauling. i would ike to sell it as awhole but if you want it i'll take 400 for it and i do have a titlepictures are attached

It might just be my computer but all your pics are just coming up as a little red x. Anyways if you can trade a psp for a running truck that would seem like a great deal on your part
